Autism fundraiser Oct. 10 at Grapplers Quest in Long Beach, Calif.

LONG BEACH, Calif. – Grapplers Quest, “The World’s Largest Grappling Competition,” is hosting The 2009 West Coast Submission Grappling and Jiu Jitsu Championships on Saturday, October 10, at California State University-Long Beach’s Pyramid.

Competition starts at 10:00 AM and runs all day. Discount tickets and fighter registration for the October 10th event are available at: GrapplersQuest.com

Grapplers Quest helps raise funds for Autism Awareness, Education and Treatments at each competition nationwide. One dollar from each ticket sold and competitor is donated to help support alternative Autism Biomedical Treatments and goes towards a direct donation to Autism Speaks, to commemorating the grappling community’s support.

Grappling with Autism September 26 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania

Jonathan Cimins, nephew of Grapplers Quest Founder, Brian Cimins, was diagnosed with Autism at only eighteen months of age. For the last five years, with his brother Paul and the Cimins family, they’ve created “Jonathan’s Team” to help support Autism Awareness and help raise funds for Education, Treatments, and hopefully a Cure at each Grapplers Quest Submission Grappling and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Tournament nationwide.

On Saturday, September 26th, Grapplers Quest, “The World’s Largest Grappling Competition” is celebrating its 10th Anniversary by bringing The 2009 Northeast Submission Grappling and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Championships to the brand new Lancaster Convention Center in Lancaster, PA, starting at 10:00 AM until 7:30 PM. $1 from each spectator ticket or competitor fee will be donated to help support the founder’s nephew, Jonathan’s alternative Autism Biomedical Treatments. Grapple against autism May 9 in Las Vegas

Jonathan Cimins, nephew of Grapplers Quest founder, Brian Cimins, was diagnosed with Autism at only 18 months of age.
