It’s fight week! Can you believe it’s almost here. Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Conor McGregor will go toe-to-toe on Aug. 26 in Las Vegas as the UFC champion tries to do the impossible and topple the best pound-for-pound boxer on the planet. Yesterday we posted the movie ‘Starboy’ that documents Conor’s rematch win over Nate Diaz and then his winning the UFC lightweight championship just three months later. In ‘I am the Future’, which was released prior to ‘Starboy’, Hizzer Edits delivers with its film about Conor’s featherweight title win over Jose Aldo in Dec. 2015 and what happened shortly thereafter.
Let us refresh your memory. Just three months after his featherweight title win over Aldo, Conor was supposed to fight Rafael dos Anjos for the lightweight title. But an injury forced dos Anjos out and Nate Diaz stepped in on short notice and the bout was contested at 170 pounds. Nate ended up winning the fight via submission.
