Yoel Romero was next in line for a title shot and got it, but not with who he expected. With middleweight champ Michael Bisping out injured he had to settle for Robert Whittaker and the loss that came with it. Whittaker is now the interim champ, but Yoel is not sitting back licking his wounds. He’s on Twitter sparring with former champ Luke Rockhold.
Rockhold went after Romero when he was jabbed with this:

Romero fired back with an accusation that Luke was ducking him and a link to his KO loss to Michael Bisping.

If this continues it is the matchup to make certainly with the winner facing the winner of Whittaker vs. Bisping unless GSP vs. “The Count” actually happens first. If it does, the winner of Yoel and Luke should square off against Whittaker. What a mess.
