ONE: Dynasty of Heroes took place this morning from Singapore Indoor Stadium and saw ONE Women’s Atomweight World Champion Angela Lee retain her title with an anaconda choke submission in the second round over top contender Istela Nunes of Brazil. In the co-main event, ONE Welterweight World Champion Ben Askren made quick work of Malaysia’s Agilan Thani with arm triangle choke finish at 2:20 of round 1.

Atomweight champion Angela Lee spoke to the Singapore fans following her main event victory. “I really love you guys and it’s an honor to fighter here as your champion,” she said. “To everyone who is watching from all around the world, thank you guys so much, it means the world to me. The anaconda choke is one of our favorites, so I was really happy to win with that submission tonight.”
