What’s your favorite way to win a fight?
A knockout, definitely. I have a lot of submissions too, but I like a cool KO more than anything.
When you’re driving, what are you listening to?
I listen to a lot of hood rap (laughs) — DMX, Big Pun, none of that new, mumbling stuff, though (laughs).
What are you watching on Netflix?
I like watching their documentaries and their Adam Sandler movies. I was watching “Stranger Things” a few months ago; me and my girlfriend were both really into that.
What’s your favorite post-victory meal?
I’m pretty good with dieting; I’m always eating clean, mostly, because I feel guilty if I don’t. But after a win, I definitely have a sweet tooth. I love those big cookies.
What are your goals for the rest of 2017?
Definitely keep winning. I want people to know who I am. After I win this fight, people are going to take me more seriously. I want to be seen as a serious force in this flyweight division.
