Goldberg Lesnar
Goldberg vs. Lesnar

During a Live Q & A at ESPN in Connecticut Goldberg talked about his sketchy jackhammer to Rusev on Monday’s RAW. Social media ate him alive because of a simple slip when delivering a knee and he took notice. Here’s what he said:

I don’t care, man. With social media everyone sees that stuff. Here’s the thing… its been 12 years, bro. It’s literally the second time I’ve stepped inside the ring, it’s no excuse, it happens and it is what it is. At the end of the day it made it look like more of a real fight and… I’m a perfectionist, so all you guys out there on social media you can kiss my butt, because there’s nothing you can say to make me feel any worse than I’m making myself feel.

I hold myself to an extremely high standard, and it’s a standard that can never be reached. It’s unattainable, but it drives me to try to be my best in everything that I do and if I please myself, then I hope that the fans will be pleased. The problem is that I’ll never please myself.

Every time I go out… I don’t think anybody’s gonna clap for me. It’s just the way I am. It’s hard for me to believe anybody appreciates what I do, so I try to gain that appreciation every single time I go out.

On Nov. 20 at Survivor Series against Brock Lesnar he will have a chance to prove himself. What do you think? Does ring rust show on Goldberg?
