Invicta FC featherweight champion Cristiane Justino aka Cyborg may never get a chance to fight Ronda Rousey, but she may get the next best thing.

Cyborg is 2-0 inside the Octagon fighting at a catch weight since she is a big 145 pound fighter without a 145 pound division to rule. This time former Strikeforce and UFC bantamweight champion Miesha Tate may meet her at 140 most likely in an intriguing match-up.

Tate told UFC Unfiltered (via Flo Combat) the following:

Would I be open to it, yeah sure, it would be win-win. She’s a beast and it would be cool to challenge myself up against someone of her stature.

I’m curious to see how she would do up against some of the top five girls at 135 and you know, she’s been impressive so far,” Tate continued. “It would be cool to see if she can make 135, but I wouldn’t be opposed to taking the fight at 140.

Miesha is fighting Raquel Pennington at the UFC 205 pay-per-view (PPV) event next month in New York City and a win there would set the stage for a money drawing fight against Tate. Cyborg does not have an opponent at least for now.
