An injury has forced former middleweight champ Chris Weidman out of his UFC 199 rematch against Luke Rockhold, the man who took his title via fourth round TKO this past December. The news broke Tuesday afternoon and the UFC is currently seeking a replacement for Weidman for the June 4 event in Los Angeles.

That’s not much time to prepare for someone as dangerous as Rockhold, but one man has already stepped up and that is “The Count” Michael Bisping. He quickly took to Twitter.

The frontrunner should probably be No. 2 ranked Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza who dominated Vitor Belfort this past weekend at UFC 198, stopping the legend in round one via TKO. “Jacare” was on an eight fight winning streak before dropping a split decision to Yoel Romero in December — however, Romero tested positive for the USADA-banned substance ibutamoren in that fight — and Souza should at least be given the opportunity.

Who would you like to see in there?

They better be prepared for this.

Stay tuned for updates.
