It’s heating up folks. Ever since Miesha Tate beat Holly Holm who vanquished Ronda Rousey, the title picture has gotten real.

Holly Holm’s manager Lenny Fresquez laid in to Miesha’s decision to fight Amanda Nunes at UFC 200 to the Albuquerque Journal. While some fighters respect her for not holding another deserving fighter back – Holm’s manager Mr. Lenny Fresquez is not happy and even dissed Nunes in his rant.

They tell me Tate chose (Nunes)…Holly was offered to her and she chose Nunes. She chose to take a weaker opponent. Holly gave her a chance. We’re pretty disappointed she didn’t return the favor.
Then Miesha told MMAJunkie her side of the story.

They (UFC) thought that Amanda was the next best girl in line, They were like, ‘Look, you just beat Holly. You finished her. ‘They didn’t feel that it was necessary to have an immediate rematch; it didn’t warrant an immediate rematch. It wasn’t one of those performances or such a crazy fight that we’ve got to have an immediate rematch.

The fight between Amanda Nunes and Miesha Tate for the Bantamweight championship takes place at UFC 200, headlined by the Nate Diaz vs. Conor McGregor rematch on Sat., July 9, 2016, inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The war of words is probably just getting started. Can you imagine if Amanda pulls this off?
