There’s no word on an opponent yet, but guess who’s back? Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (36-11) is back in the Bellator cage and you better like it. The 37-year-old Memphis native has been embroiled in a contract dispute between Bellator and the UFC that has kept him sidelined since April of last year when he beat Fabio Maldonado at UFC 186.

Rampage won Bellator’s light heavyweight tournament in 2014 defeating King Mo via controversial decision in the finals. For good reason Bellator wanted to protect their investment, but Jackson left the organization citing breach of contract and was granted a fight by New Jersey to face Maldonado at UFC 186. But it’s one and done for Rampage in the Octagon and now he’s back with Scott Coker and crew.

Bellator released the following statement:

“Following an amicable agreement to settle the litigation between the two parties, the always entertaining and exciting Quinton “Rampage” Jackson is returning to Bellator.

“Bellator MMA is thrilled to have “Rampage,” one of the most recognizable fighters in the history of the sport, joining a very competitive light heavyweight division featuring champion Liam McGeary, Phil Davis, King Mo, Tito Ortiz, Emanuel Newton, Linton Vassell among others.”

Quinton is currently riding a four-fight winning streak and there are some interesting matchups for him in Bellator, but first we would like to see a rematch between he and King Mo. Cause the judges in that first fight left their coke bottle bifocals at home.

If you want to get to know the real Rampage Jackson be sure to check him out having too much fun and making way too much money playing video games on his Twitch channel.
