Prestige FC 2: Queen City Coronation will be headlined with two featherweight pro mixed martial arts title fights, one in the women’s 145-pound division and one in the men’s 145-pound division. The event will be held on Saturday, March 12 at The Orr Centre in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Hometown favorite Charmaine “Not So Sweet” Tweet (7-5) will compete against Jessy “The Widowmaker” Miele (5-2) for Prestige FC’s inaugural women’s featherweight title. And Kurt “The Hurt” Southern (14-6) takes on Nick “Nyquil” Rhoads (8-2) for the organization’s inaugural men’s 145-pound championship.

Tweet is ranked among the top 10 in the world in her division and is coming off her second straight TKO victory back in October when she took out Anna Barone at Prestige FC 1. Tweet remains the only woman who has been inside the cage with both Cris Cyborg and Ronda Rousey.

Miele had a four-fight winning streak snapped by Peggy Morgan last August, but rebounded in January with a second round submission of Jamie Driver at Reality Fighting. She is considered the top pound-for-pound active female fighter in the Northeast.

Rhoads is riding a five-fight win streak but hasn’t fought in a year. He was last inside the cage in Jan. 2015 when he won a TKO due to doctor stoppage against Thomas Schulte in Phoenix. The 25-year-old Apex MMA product has finished half his wins via submission.

Southern made a big impression on Prestige FC’s debut card when he submitted AKA’s Daniel Swain in the first round. It was a much needed win for the 32-year-old Canadian after dropping back to back fights against Tom Gallicchio in 2014. Like Rhoads, most of Southern’s wins have also been by submission.
