WWE United States Champion Alberto Del Rio was attacked by a fan while working a WWC event in Bayamon, Puerto Rico last weekend. WWE allowed him to fulfill that booking despite their regular no compete clause. During a match against Ray Gonzalez, a fan hit Del Rio in the back when he was outside of the ring. It was quickly broken up by security and the fan was thrown out.
