dustin poirierThe former UFC Dublin main event between lightweights Dustin Poirier and Joe Duffy has a new home. Their fight will now take place on the UFC 195 card that’s set for January 2 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

The bout was supposed to take place earlier this month, but Duffy suffered a concussion in training about a week out from the fight and had to withdraw. Poirier felt it was best for his career to not take a fight on short notice, and to wait until Duffy was healthy enough to fight.

The UFC 195 event will be headlined by the UFC welterweight title fight between champion Robbie Lawler and challenger Carlos Condit. The co-main event will feature a heavyweight scrap between former champion Andrei Arlovski and Stipe Miocic.
