World Series of Fighting brings both a Heavyweight Championship and Flyweight Championship to Foxwoods Resort Casino Saturday night in Mashantucket, Conn. Blagoi Ivanov will defend his heavyweight title against Derrick Mehmen, and Magomed Bibulatov faces Donavon Frelow for the inaugural WSOF featherweight title.

WSOF 24 is headlined with a welterweight match-up between top WSOF 170-pound contenders, Jon Fitch and Yushin Okami. Main card action kicks off at 8:30 p.m. ET (5:30 p.m. PT) on NBC Sports Network and we’ll have all the live updates and highlights right here.

Round-by-Round Updates:

MAGOMED BIBULATOV vs. DONAVON FRELOW / FEATHERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

Round 1 – Lots of feeling out. Left to the body and overhand right from Frelow but he gets thrown by Bibulatov. Back to the feet. Frelow attacks off a spin kick counter but gets put down. Back up. Bibulatov has been unable to keep Frelow down once he gets the takedown. Nice leg kick from Bibulatov. Frelow looks for a knee tap takedown but Bibilatov avoids it. Nice strike combo from Bibulatov to end the round. 10-9 Bibulatov.

Round 2 – Body kick from Frelow. Bibulatov with some nice combos, but they miss, he puts Frelow down with a quick level change. Frelow right back up once again though. Bibulatov pressing him to the cage. Leg kick from Bibulatov. Frelow with a couple low kicks. Closer round.

Round 3 – Spin back kick to the mid-section of Frelow by Bibulatov. Hook kick from the Russian. Low kick from Frelow but gets put down. Frelow gets up but gets picked up and slammed. Bibulatov takes his back but Frelow is able to roll out. Body kick from Bibulatov. Leg kick from Frelow. Right left right from Frelow tones him up. Low kick to the groin from Frelow and we get a timeout…. Bibulatov with a big slam before the bell. 10-9 Bibulatov.

Round 4 – Clinched up, nice knee from Bibulatov but he eats a sweet elbow from Frelow. … Low kick from Bibulatov. Left hook from Frelow, Bibulatov locks him up to the cage. Beautiful slam from Bibulatov. Frelow back up, eats an elbow, pushes him to the cage. Knee. Bibulatov breaks out of a headlock with a spinning back kick, all in one motion, it was damn slick. … Bibulatov with another takedown. Frelow catches him a one arm guillotine, lets it go. Back to the feet. Spinning back fist and a low kick from Bibulatov. Right hook lands at the end of a Frelow combo. Spinning backfist from Bibulatov at the bell. 10-9 Bibulatov.

Round 5 – Right hook and a takedown from Bibulatov, lands in half guard. Frelow looking for a guillotine, he gives up his back but ends up on top inside Bibulatov’s guard. Ref stands them up after stalling. Side kick from Bibulatov following a spinning back fist. Cartwheel kick scores from Bibulatov to the neck. Knee to the body from Bibulatov. Spin kick to the head from Bibulatov stuns Frelow. Then a spin kick to the body and a takedown. Frelow gets up with about 30 seconds left. Bibulatov holds him against the cage and lands knees. 10-9 Bibulatov.

VINNY  MAGALHAES vs. MATT HAMILL

Round 1 – Clinch, uppercuts from Matt. Nice leg kick. Nice body kick from Vinny but Matt catches it. Legt hook to the body from Hamill. Low kick from Vinny. Takedown from Hamill and he’s landing shots. Vinny goes for an arm, then switches to a leg and Hamill taps out to a kneebar. And unlike Palhares, Vinny let it go.

NICK NEWELL vs. TOM MARCELLINO

Round 1 – Low kick from Newell. Another and another. Body kick. Low kick from Marcellino. Clinch, knee from Newell. Body kick follows, he attacks with punches and presses Marcellino to the cage. He gets the takedown, Marcellino puts some elbows in his back, then tries to lock up a guillotine but he doesn’t have control of Nick’s legs. Nick ends up going for his own guillotine after breaking free. There’s a scramble and Nick then goes for an armbar. Tom breaks out and gets to his feet, Nick drops levels for a takedown attempt against the cage. Marcellino puts several sharp elbows to Nick’s back. Newell 10-9.

Round 2 – Inside leg kick from Marcellino. Nick looks for a takedown but gets caught in a guillotine on the way down. Once again Tom doesn’t have control of the legs though and Nick is in full control here from the top but isn’t doing much except holding him down. Now he’s throwing a few body shots. They scramble and Nick takes Marcellino’s back with both hooks in. Marcellino gets free but still ends up on his butt with Newell on top against the cage. Newell in side mount. Ref stands them up. The 10 second clacker sounds (or was it the bell at the 10 second mark by mistake?) and referee Dan Miragliotta mistakenly thinks it’s the end of the round and stops the fight. Wow. 10-9 Newell.

Round 3 – Newell gets off with a few punches. Marcellino catches a body kick and dumps Newell. He takes Newell’s back from the side as he gets to his knees. Marcellino with knees to the body. Knee to the face from Marcellino as Newell gets up, he turns Marcellino to the cage and gets a takedown. Marcellino lands several punches as Newell holds him down with 2 minutes to go. Marcellino locks up a guillotine, Newell gives a thumbs up but is struggling, but then pops his head out. Ref stands them up. Jabs from Newell. He tries to shoot but gets pushed over on his back. Marcellino now on top inside full guard. He postures up with hammerfists. Newell hits him with an up kick. Marcellino yelling something at him telling him to get up, does it a few more times before the bell and that’s how it ends. Hmmm… interesting. Could go either way really. Newell controlled the action more but didn’t do much when he got Marcellino down. Most of Marcellino’s effective strikes were all defensive from bad positions.

BLAGOI IVANOV (c) vs. DERRICK MEHMEN / HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

Round 1 – Big left from Ivanov hurts Mehmen, he unloads a flurry of violence after that but somehow Mehmen survives the onslaught. They square up again in the center. Blagoi eats a right to the body and one to the head. Blagoi fires back and stuns Mehmen. Low kick from Mehmen. Left straight from Blagoi, right hook. Another left, and a couple more before they clinch up and Mehmen turns him to the cage. They move back to the center. Right hook from Blagoi as Mehmen runs right into it. Straight left from Blagoi rocks Mehmen back. Right hook counter from Blagoi. Another. He taunts Blagoi now, and he’s bleeding pretty good. Right hook counter from Blagoi. Both taunting a bit now. Good stuff. Blagoi 10-9.

Round 2 – Clinch knee from Mehmen against the cage. Blagoi hunting. Low kick from Mehmen. Blagoi seems to have slowed down and is breathing pretty hard. Mehmen still moving pretty good. Left counter from Blagoi, again. Nice stiff right jab from Blagoi as a busted up Mehmen continues to circle. Mehmen eats a short left inside. Mehmen is bleeding pretty bad over his left eye and Blagoi cracks him right in the nose with a left hook, he grabs his face and falls to the floor. Ivanov pounces but the ref saves him.

JON FITCH vs. YUSHIN OKAMI

Round 1 – Right from Fitch. Low kick from Fitch. Jab from Okami. Fitch shoots, stuffed, he presses Okami to the cage. Okami turns him around. Fitch turns him back around pressing him to the cage. Okami reverses, puts a knee or two against Fitch’s thighs. Ref finally separates them. Yushin shoots in and presses Fitch to the cage, knee to the body. Another knee from Okami. Body shots from Fitch. They wrestle in the clinch for some time as Okami searches for the takedown. 10-9 Okami.

Round 2 – Fitch with a takedown early but Okami is back up, lands an uppercut. Shoots in, stuffed. Fitch lands a couple punches, then shoots in and succeeds with another takedown. Fitch gets to half guard, Okami bucks and tries to kick out but Fitch controls him, gets Okami in a cradle and holds him against the cage. Under a minute to go. Ref wants action. 10-9 Fitch.

Round 3 – Fitch with another takedown, lands in side mount. Now inside guard Fitch lands some hard body shots. Okami scrambles to his feet and initiates the clinch, Fitch drops levels looking for the takedown and gets it. Fitch on top in half guard with half the round down. They scramble and Fitch ends up back on top but Okami is looking for a guillotine. He’s squeezing it but Fitch pops right out. Okami tries to kick out and get up but Fitch maintains control, lands some body shots and grinds Okami out.
