The UFC 194 PPV event now has a co-main event. UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman will look to defend his title against Luke Rockhold according to UFC officials. The event will take place December 12 in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
The UFC 194 event will be headlined by the UFC featherweight title fight between champion Jose Aldo and interim champion Conor McGregor.
Weidman (13-0) is coming off a first round TKO win over Vitor Belfort in his last outing at UFC 187. Weidman has now defended his title three times and has finished four of his last five opponents via TKO/KO.
Rockhold (14-2) is coming off a second round submission win over Lyoto Machida in his last outing in April. Rockhold has now won four consecutive fights, finishing all four of those opponents either via submission or TKO/KO.
