UFC MonterreyUFC officials have announced that a welterweight scrap between TUF winner Kelvin Gastelum and former TUF contestant Matt Brown will headline the UFC Fight Night event in Monterrey, Mexico. The event will take place on November 21 and will air on FOX Sports 1.

Another fight has also been announced for the card as TUF winner Efrain Escudero takes on Leandro Silva in a lightweight scrap.

Gastelum (11-1) will make his return to the welterweight division after being forced to fight as a middleweight in his last fight due to missing weight multiple times. Gastelum last competed at UFC 188, stopping Nate Marquardt in the second round via TKO.

Brown (20-13) is coming off a first round TKO win over Tim Means at UFC 189 in his last outing. It was his first win after suffering back-to-back losses to Johny Hendricks and Robbie Lawler. Brown had rattled off seven consecutive wins prior to those losses.
