A great deal has changed in the MMA landscape since TJ Dillashaw shocked the MMA world by dethroning long time UFC bantamweight champion Renan Barao at UFC 173. The two will rematch in the UFC on FOX 16 main event to see if the first time was a fluke, or if Dillashaw is the real deal to push the old guard out for good.
The co-main event is a similar setup between Miesha Tate and Jessica Eye. The female bantamweight fighters are likely one win away from a title shot. Tate has been a former champion in Strikeforce and fought for the title two other times in the UFC. Will Eye be able to get through the toughest test of her career with a win, or will the long time perennial top 5 bantamweight get another shot at arch nemesis Ronda Rousey should Rousey defeat Bethe Correia at UFC 190?
Also, a lightweight fight between two exciting strikers is set to take place on the main card between Edson Barboza and Paul Felder.
The UFC on FOX 16 event will take place on Saturday night at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. The preliminary fights will air on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.
