LC Davis had a career defining performance against Hideo Tokoro Friday night in the Bellator 135 co-headliner in Oklahoma. The fight went the distance with Davis winning the split decision two rounds to one. Despite getting several bottom teeth knocked out, defending several tight submission attempts and absorbing some hard shots, Davis was able to get the job done with his boxing and grappling, wobbling Tokoro at least once and going to the bell in round three holding a tight guillotine.

This is the fight we’ve been waiting to see from Davis — but it takes two and Tokoro was the perfect opponent at the right time, which is another testament to the matchmaking prowess of Bellator (Bellaforce) with Scott Coker at the helm. By the way, some think Tokoro won the fight. You watch and decide and let us know if they got it right.
