Yes, the rumors are true. Yours truly predicted a knockout win for Anthony “Rumble” Johnson over Alexander Gustafsson at UFC on Fox 14 in Stockholm (proof and more proof 27:00 mark). The nearly 30,000 fans in attendance saw their hero decimated in the first round in a just a little over two minutes. Johnson has now won nine fights in a row, including three straight since his return to the UFC, and has punched his ticket to a title shot with the man largely considered the best fighter the sport of MMA has ever seen. All things being equal — meaning Johnson comes into the fight against Jon Jones healthy — I’m predicting another knockout win for Rumble to become the next UFC light heavyweight champion.
