Irishman Conor McGregor and German kickboxer Dennis Siver square off in tonight’s main event at UFC Fight Night 59 in Boston. Also, Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone returns against former lightweight champ Benson Henderson in the co-headliner.

Norman Parke vs. Gleison Tibau
Round 1 – I picked Tibau on this one. But the Irishmen are having a run tonight. Touch gloves. Tibau huge as always. Parke presses him to the cage for only a second before Tibau escapes to the center. High kick from Tibau. Tibau checks a body kick attempt. Inside leg kick from Parke. Front kick. Nice left from Tibau backs Parke up. Jab from Parke. Parke shoots in, stuffed. Knee from Tibau. Right hook from Parke. Nice body kick from Parke, another. Clinch, knee exchange. Very close round.
Round 2 – Clinch. Inside leg kick from Tibau. Outside leg kick follows. Inside leg kick from Tibau. Parke just misses a big uppercut. Parke shoots, stuffed. Tibau presses him to the cage. Takedown from Tibau. Parke uses the cage against his back to get to his feet. He presses Tibau to the cage. Tibau turns him and drops levels for a takedown attempt, sticks with it and gets it. Parke right back up though, Tibau pressing him to the cage. Knees from Parke to the body. Leg kick from Tibau. Another fairly close round. Probably give it to Tibau.
Round 3 – Thai clinch and knee from Tibau after some clinch work and dancing around. Left from Parke. Parke presses him to the cage, knee to the body on the break. Body kick from Parke, as he tries turning up the pace and pressure. Tibau catches him in a front headlock for a moment, lets it go. Jabs from Parke. Tibau shoots, stuffed. Parke pressuring with punches. Nice one two. Misses a judo throw. Parke presing. Tibau with a left. Parke shoots in at the bell. Got the third round for Parke, and round two from Tibau. Not sure about the first, could go either way.

Round 1 – Body kick from Stallings. Leg kick, nice counter punch from Hall. Leg kick Hall. Side kick from Stallings. Big inside leg kick from Stallings. Front kick from Hall. Again. Leg kick. Stallings blocks a spin kick. Left counter from Stallings. Inside leg kick. Right counter from Hall drops Stallings. Hall goes in for the kill as Stallings tries to recover. Hall lets him stand up. Time is called to check a cut over Stallings left eye. It’s a bad enough cut that the doctor stops the fight. It was a pretty bad cut, but not that bad.

Round 3 – Side kicks to the thigh from Bendo. Leg kick Cerrone. They trade low kicks. Body kick Bendo, left hook counter from Cowboy. High kick from Bendo stuns Cerrone. Step in knee to the body from Bendo. Body shot from Bendo, just misses a high kick. Cowboy takes him down but Bendo is right back up. Knee to the body from Bendo. Clinch, knee from Cowboy. Round 1 – They just blocked out a middle finger to Siver from the staredowns. Trading kicks to start. Conor misses a spin kick, lands a side kick. Body kick. Slips. Conor misses a head kick and Siver lands a left. Siver shoots, stuffed. Body kick and right hand from Siver. Left from Conor. Jumping knee from Conor, left from Siver. Side kick to the leg from Siver. Conor goading him. Head kick and a left from Siver. Anoter left from Conor. Body kick from Siver. Left from Conor. He blocks Siver’s body kick attempt. Straight left and a high kick from McGregor and Siver’s mouthpiece goes flying. High kicks from Siver blocked. Head kick from Conor. Siver goes for the takedown, but Conor slips out. Another head kick from Conor. Right from Siver but Conor is all over him. Body shot, takedown attempt from Siver. Conor’s range is making a big difference here as he pours it on, Siver’s back to the cage. PMN scores it 10-9 McGregor.
Round 2 – With these judges, Conor better finish. Head kick from Conor. Body kick from Siver, leg kick. Conor walking him down. Nice straight left, spin kick to the body. High kick. Straight left, again. Head kick. Hands down, countering the slower fighter. Big left from Conor and Siver goes down. Full mount for Conor, he drops elbows and punches until Herb Dean stops it. Conor jumps out of the ring and goes after Jose Aldo screaming at him, they hold him back.
