UFC officials have announced another bout for the upcoming UFC 184 PPV event that’s set for February 28 at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, California. TUF1 alum and former title challenger UFC welterweight Josh Koscheck will be returning to action to take on Jake Ellenberger.

The UFC 184 event will be headlined by the UFC middleweight title fight between champion Chris Weidman and challenger Vitor Belfort. Also, UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will take on Cat Zingano in the co-main event.

Koscheck (17-8) has lost his last three fights with all of those fights coming against elite welterweights, including the two fighters in the main event of UFC 184. However, Koscheck has talked about retirement before, and it has been over a year since he last competed in November 2013. This could very well be the last fight of his career if he were to lose against Jake Ellenbeger who is also seemingly on the downside of his career.

Ellenberger (29-9) is also coming off losses in his last three fights with the losses coming against top fighters as well. Ellenberger last won in March 2013 against Nate Marquardt, but has been finished via submission and TKO in his last two bouts. At 29 years of age, the welterweight still is in his physical prime but really needs to put some wins together to cement his place on the UFC roster.
