The UFC 178 PPV took place on Saturday night in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The main event saw UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson retain his title with a submission win over Chris Cariaso. The co-main event saw Conor McGregor live up to the hype with a first round TKO win over Dustin Poirier, although he did land some questionable punches to the back of Poirier’s head. Donald Cerrone beat up Eddie Alvarez to earn a unanimous decision win who was making his UFC debut after fighting in Bellator for the last five years and holding their lightweight title.

Yoel Romero and his corner played the commission in between the second and third rounds, then Romero starched Kennedy in the third round to win via TKO. Cat Zingano survived a tough first round to score a third round TKO win over Amanda Nunes to earn the next title shot against Ronda Rousey. Check out all of the video highlights below:
