The ill fated UFC 177 PPV event took place on Saturday night at the Sleep Train Arena, and actually delivered a decent night of fights. The main event saw UFC bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw  retain his title with is second consecutive TKO win in the fifth round against a game last minute replacement fighter in Joe Soto. The co-main event saw hometown favorite Danny Castillo lose a split decision against the much more active Tony Ferguson. The decision was heavily boo’ed, but it was the correct decision in my opinion. Also, Bethe Correia continued her assault on Ronda Rousey’s ‘Four Horsewomen” group with a second round TKO win over Shayna Baszler.
