Antonio Silva and Andrei ArlovskiUFC heavyweight Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva originally tried picking a fight with Josh Barnett, but the 34-year-old American Top Team product will have to settle for a rematch with former UFC heavyweight champ Andrei “The Pitbull” Arlovski.

The two have verbally agreed to fight at UFC Fight Night 51 on Sept. 13 at Ginásio Nilson Nelson Brasília, Brazil, according to a Combate.com report.

Arlovski (22-10, 1 NC) and Bigfoot (18-5, 1 NC) first fought at “Strikeforce: Heavy Artillery” back in 2010, with Bigfoot winning via unanimous decision. Since then, Arlovski has gone 6-2, 1 NC, most recently defeating Brendan Schaub via split decision at UFC 174 last month. It was Arlovski’s first fight back in the UFC since 2008, so admittedly nerves definitely played a factor for the Belarusian.

Bigfoot has gone 4-3, 1 NC since he and Arlovski’s first fight. Since arriving to the UFC in 2012, Bigfoot has scored knockout wins over Travis Browne and Alistair Overeem. He also challenged Cain Velasquez for his heavyweight title in May of last year but was stopped via TKO in the first round.

Bigfoot put on what Dana White has called “the best heavyweight fight” he’s ever seen against Mark Hunt last December. The fight originally ended in a draw, but was later overturned to a No Contest after Bigfoot tested positive for elevated levels of testosterone.
