UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey and former Strikeforce women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate have quite a bit of history between two of the most popular women’s MMA fighters on the planet. The two first matched up against one another in 2012, when Tate was the Strikeforce women’s champion and a very green Ronda Rousey challenged her for the title and won via first round armbar. Fast forward to December 2013 for their much anticipated rematch, and while Tate faired better, the end result was the same as the first encounter. It’s certainly possible these two will fight for a third time given how thin the women’s bantamweight division is at the moment.
