It was an exciting night in Culver City for the Resurrection Fighting Alliance as they returned for RFA 15. The main card kicked off with a slick submission. Justin Jones locked in a guillotine choke after rocking John Hackelman Jr. to move his record to 3-1.

James Moontasri made contact with Jordan Rinaldi in the second round causing Rinaldi to take a nap. It was a beautiful knockout that pushed Monntasri’s record to 7-1.

An oddity on the night was Daniel Aguiar’s performance over former training partner Sam Toomer. Aguiar is known to be aggressive and go after his opponent but after losing a point earlier in the fight the referee disqualified Aguiar for not engaging. If it would have went to the judges the result would have been the same.

Alan Jouban was known to have trouble with tough wrestlers. He listened to the critics and was able to out strike and defend himself against Ricky Legere’s wrestling on his way to earning a split decision victory in a fight of the night performance from both men.

The main event had some hype behind it as Andrew Sanchez launched a war of words towards Kevin Casey. Words didn’t help him as Casey knocked Sanchez out in the main event and captured the RFA middleweight title.
