If you watched Saturday’s UFC Berlin event you might have noticed something a little different about the Octagon. There were no sponsor logos on the mat.
An observant Tweeter asked the UFC boss about it:
@erikmagraken Germany’s canvas got sent to Brazil. #someonefuckedupBIG

Damn!
Although the entire fight card was streamed live online on UFC Fight Pass, and not on TV or Pay-Per-View, I’m sure sponsors still paid a pretty penny to see their logos on the Octagon canvas.
How would you like to be that “someone” that “f*cked up BIG”?
Not me.
With the UFC holding two events on the same day in different hemispheres for the first time ever, there’s bound to be a couple hiccups. The good news is there ARE sponsor logos on the canvas at the TUF Brazil 3 Finale. So, at least there’s that.
