UFC officials have announced a welterweight scrap between Rick Story and John Howard. The event will take place on July 16 at the Revel Casino in Atlantic City. It will be headlined by a lightweight fight between top 10 lightweights Donald Cerrone and Jim Miller.
Story (16-8) is coming off a controversial split decision loss to Kelvin Gastelum in his last outing at UFC 171. Story has alternated wins and losses in his last six bouts (3-3). His biggest win came against former title challenger Thiago Alves in 2011.
Howard (22-9) is coming off a unanimous decision loss against Ryan LaFlare in his last outing in April. Howard had won back-t0-back fights going into that bout, including a split decision win over TUF runner-up Uriah Hall.
