Woodley (13-2) is coming off the biggest win of his career, a second round TKO win over Carlos Condit at UFC 171. Woodley has won three of his last four fights, with all three wins coming via TKO/KO.
MacDonald (16-2) is coming off a unanimous decision win over Demian Maia at UFC 170. MacDonald has won six of his last seven bouts with the lone loss during that time coming via split decision against former title challenger Robbie Lawler.
The winner of this bout will likely get the next welterweight title shot against UFC welterweight champion Johny Hendricks who is recovering from a torn bicep injury that required surgery. UFC 174 will take place at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
