BREAKING NEWS: #UFC173 title fight postponed between Weidman and Machida.

Apparently, UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman suffered a knee injury in training that will require minor surgery which means the UFC has announced that his title defense against Lyoto Machida will be moved from the UFC 173 main event till July 5. The July 5 event will more than likely be titled UFC 175.
The UFC 173 event is set to take place on May 24, so the injury must not be too severe with the fight only being pushed back a month. A new UFC 173 main event will be announced shortly according to the UFC website. The co-main event is currently scheduled to be a heavyweight bout between former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos and rising contender Stipe Miocic.
