The WWE launched groundbreaking Network at 9 AM

As reported earlier this month the WWE Network launches this morning at 9 AM and there is a one week free trial available for all registered users. There will also be a sneak preview of WrestleMania Rewind at 9am and a sneak preview of WWE Countdown at 10am. Those shows will officially premiere on Tuesday. At 11am today, the show This Is NXT will premiere.

The WWE Network, a direct to consumer video service launched by the wrestling company debuts today, and is offering a one-week free trial. Subscribers of the network will receive every live weekly program that WWE produces, as well as every pay-per-view event. At $9.99 per month, the cost for a year’s subscription would provide value in just two pay-per-view events, which can cost upwards of $60 each when ordered on a cable or dish service.

ProMMAnow has signed up for the network and will provide updates when possible.

*Update* The network launched without a hitch and Wrestlemania Rewind started shortly after a promo package featuring present and past WWE superstars.
