rashad evansDaniel Cormier will have to wait a bit longer to make his light heavyweight debut. His UFC 170 co-main event opponent, Rashad Evans, has suffered a knee injury in training and has had to withdraw from the card.

According to Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports, UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta reportedly stated that Evans will need four weeks of rehabilitation for the injury and the UFC is looking to potentially move the bout to UFC 172 on April 26 in Baltimore, Md.

With Evans vs. Cormier off the card, welterweights Rory MacDonald and Demian Maia are expected to fill in as the co-headliner. Women’s bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey will defend her title against Sara McMann in the main event.

Losing Evans-Cormier is a big hit for UFC 170. Here’s the question though… will Rousey vs. McMann be enough to carry this Pay-Per-View? Hopefully they will move Alexis Davis vs. Jessica Eye up to the main card.

UFC 170 will take place Saturday, Feb. 22, from Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. The card has gone through a number of changes in the past couple days, but here’s the line-up as it currently stands:
