If you haven’t heard the news yet, as of today I will not be fighting in the UFC…
but come March 23 I will be! Hendo vs Shogun II Ufc Fight Night 38
The event will take place on March 23 in Brazil, and will feature a rematch from one of the most epic MMA fights of all time. Dan Henderson (29-11) and Shogun Rua (22-8) fought at UFC 139 with Henderson winning a unanimous decision in 2011. It received “Fight of the Year” honors for all of the back forth action between two of the greatest fighters of our generation.
Henderson has been on a bit of a slide since that fight, dropping his last three bouts, including the first KO loss of his career in his last outing against Vitor Belfort.
Rua has gone (2-2) since the last encounter, but was victorious in his last outing against James Te-Huna.
