UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre announced that he was going to vacant his title and step away from the sport of MMA today. St-Pierre defended his title for the ninth time with a split decision win over Johny Hendricks at UFC 167. Hendricks will now take on Robbie Lawler for the vacant title at UFC 171 in March.
