UFC Fight Night 35 has landed a flyweight bout between Dustin Ortiz and John Moraga. UFC officials have announced the fight that will take place in Duluth, GA on January 15th. The event is being headlined by middleweights Costa Philippou and Luke Rockhold.

Ortiz made his UFC debut in Brazil with a third round TKO victory over Jose Maria. The Tennessee native is a Strikeforce and Resurrection Fighting Alliance veteran who is riding a four fight winning streak. Ortiz has finished 9 of his 12 opponents and possesses strong submission skills as well as accurate striking.
Moraga is looking to bounce back after losing to flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson back in July. He was on a seven fight winning streak before that loss including wins over Chris Cariaso and Ulysses Gomez in his first two UFC outings.
