ONTARIO, Calif. — ProMMAnow.com (www.prommanow.com) reporter Dan “The Wolfman” Theodore caught up with kickboxing legend-turned-MMA fighter Tyrone Spong (2-0) following his unanimous decision main event victory over fellow light heavyweight Angel DeAnda (11-3) at World Series of Fighting 4 held at Citizens Bank Arena in Ontario, Calif., Saturday night.
Spong talked about DeAnda’s extreme toughness and durability despite being hit with punches and dropped with leg kicks several times. Spong also talked about training with the Blackzilians and working with Rashad Evans on his wrestling defense and how it helped him in the fight. Spong also confirmed his aspirations to do some boxing to become a combat sports triple threat.
