Female boxer-turned-MMA fighter Holly Holm improved her unbeaten mixed martial arts record to 4-0 Friday night with a brutal second round head kick knockout of Allanna Jones (2-3) at Legacy FC 21 in Houston, Texas. Holm made her pro boxing debut way back in in 2002, and in May of this year she fought her 38th pro boxing match, successfully defending her IBA Female and WBF Female Light Welterweight Titles.
Since making her pro MMA debut in 2011 Holm has knocked out all four of her opponents. Her highest profile MMA win to date was her body kick TKO win over veteran Jan Finney in Sept. 2011 — but this head kick KO of Allanna Jones is probably the most spectacular and vicious. Keep an eye on this 31-year-old Jackson/Winkeljohn product as she continues to climb the bantamweight ranks in women’s MMA.
