The UFC 164 event now has a new main event with TJ Grant having to withdraw from his title fight with Ben Henderson due to an injury. Anthony Pettis will now step in to fight Henderson which will be a rematch from 2010 in which Pettis defeated Henderson to become the final WEC lightweight champion.

Grant (21-5) had earned the title shot with five consecutive wins, including a first round destruction of two time title contender Gray Maynard in his last outing at UFC 160.

Pettis (16-2) is coming off a first round TKO win over Donald Cerrone in January. Pettis was thought to be the number one contender as a lightweight at that point before deciding to move to the featherweight division for the opportunity to fight Jose Aldo for the title there. However, an injury forced Pettis to pull out of that bout that was set for UFC 163. Apparently, Pettis will be ready to fight Henderson just three weeks later at UFC 164.

The UFC 164 event will take place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, at the BMO Harris Bradley Center which is the hometown of Pettis.
