[ads2]What a night! Anderson Silva got knocked out after showboating against Chris Weidman, and we saw two more outstanding fights that earned “Fight of the Night” honors.

Chris Weidman became the new UFC middleweight champion and earned the “Knockout of the Night” bonus in the process. You can watch the ending of the fight right here.

Cub Swanson and Dennis Siver also won “Fight of the Night” honors for their back and forth war of attrition. The fight was filled with many striking exchanges, but Swanson landed a barrage of strikes late in the third round that put the German fighter away via TKO. It was the fifth consecutive win for Swanson is slowly creeping into title contention.

Frankie Edgar and Charles Oliveira also won “Fight of the Night” honors for their war as well. This fight went all over the place with many heavy striking exchanges and scrambles on the ground. One pivotal moment was the end of the second round when Oliveira locked in a guillotine choke in which Edgar was potentially saved by the bell.

All five fighters earned $50,000 for the efforts in addition to what they’ll make in base pay.
