Pro MMA Now Radio welcomes Drew Fickett and Oli Thompson at 2 p.m. ET

It is the 4th of July and what better way to get ready for a cookout or  a fireworks show than listening to Pro MMA Now Radio! Today we talk to a couple talented veterans of the sport who just fought on the inaugural Global Warrior Challenge event in Kansas City.

Drew Fickett has seen his share of ups and downs in his career. He has battled some of the best in the sport and won but has had to battle his own demons along the way. Fickett is now a year sober and is looking ahead to his career and his life. He went the distance with Andre Winner in Kansas City and today we will see what is in store for him.

Oli Thompson is what one would imagine a true heavyweight should look like. A giant of a man with a super hero physique but a calm down to earth sentiment about him outside the cage. Thompson was dominant in his last win and already has a couple engagements lined up. The British star joins us to talk about his experience and what he’s got in the works.

UFC 162 goes down this Saturday and we will break down one of the most stacked fight cards of the year. Why is everyone discounting Anderson Silva and picking Weidman? We will talk about that and more.
