Look, we know. You think Pride FC was the greatest MMA promotion to ever grace God’s green earth, and no matter what Dana White does the UFC will never be anywhere near as good as anything that ever happened in that bright white ring. You blew $500 on a pair of commemorative blue gloves, and none of your friends think your “no strike groin” t-shirt is funny, but they’re just haters; after all Pride never die!

Well, annoying Pride nostalgia guy, Russia’s Legend MMA has heard your cries, and has arranged to give you one more bump of ring combat glory.

Nine years after their first encounter ended in a classic ‘right leg hospital, left leg cemetary’ finish for Filipović, Mirko Cro Cop and Alexander Emelianenko will once again square off in the ring. This November, Cro Cop and Emelianenko will meet in Russia’s Legend Mixed Martial Arts in a battle of semi-retired veteran knock out artists.

Emelianenko, younger brother of he who needs no introduction, was last seen in the Legend MMA ring assaulting a human heavybag, while Cro Cop has stayed busy with a renewed focus on kickboxing, quietly piecing together a 3-0 record en route to winning the K-1 Heavyweight Grand Prix this calendar year. Although both men are far removed from the primes of their careers, the rematch is an ideal pairing for two hard hitting heavyweights who are unafraid to stand and deliver a crowd pleasing performance.

Keep it locked to ProMMANow.com as we follow the details of this, and other, opportunities to let your Pride FC fanboy flag fly high.
