A new bout has been added to the Cage Warriors 57 card as Jack Mason (24-11) faces Bruno Carvalho (15-6) in a welterweight matchup. The event is set to take place at the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England, on July 20.
Cage Warriors Fighting Championship (CWFC) officials confirmed the bout earlier today.
Cage Warriors 57 will feature a headline bout between Lukasz Chlewicki and Paul Daley, who will engage in a welterweight showdown. The main card is expected to air on MMAJunkie.com and CageWarriors.tv with the prelims likely to air on Facebook.
Jack Mason is currently riding a four fight winning streak, most recently defeating Collin Reuter via unanimous decision at CWFC Fight Night 8 in May. Prior to that he scored a second round TKO victory over Matt Inman at Cage Warriors 52 in March, and picked up a unanimous decision win over Florent Betorangal at Cage Warriors 51 in December 2012. Mason has the chance to extend his streak to five with a big win over Carvalho.

Bruno Carvalho last fought at Cage Warriors 52 in March, where he scored a second round TKO victory over Steven Dinsdale. Prior to that he dropped a unanimous decision loss against Cathal Pendred at Cage Warriors 49 in October 2012. Carvalho will no doubt look to remain in the win column and deliver a good performance against Mason on July 20.
