Former interim UFC welterweight champion Carlos Condit (28-7) to the Octagon to face the always tough Martin Kampmann (20-6) on Wednesday, August 28 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind.
Condit lost a razor close split decision against Kampmann in his UFC debut in 2009, and will look to avenge the loss in the UFC’s first return to Indiana since UFC 119 in 2010.
“Two of the top-ranked welterweights in the division will collide when former interim UFC champion Carlos Condit meets Martin Kampmann in Indianapolis,” UFC President Dana White said. “Both of these guys love finishing fights, so this is gonna be a war!”
Tickets for the UFC on FOX Sports 1: Condit vs. Kampmann 2 will go on sale Friday, June 14 at 10 a.m. ET and are priced at $200.00, $125.00, $90.00, $60.00, and $40.00. Tickets will be available at all Ticketmaster locations. Ticket sales are limited to eight (8) per person. The co-main event will feature a great lightweight matchup between Donald Cerrone (20-5, 1NC) and the quickly rising Rafael dos Anjos (19-6). Both fighters are coming off nice wins in the last respective outings.
