3 Kick Ass Self-Defense Tips For Women

Here are 3 great self-defense tips for ladies…

Imagine your worst nightmare is coming true. There is a man coming at you, clearly up to no good. What do you do? Don’t panic! There are 3 tips that you can use to get yourself out of the situation safely.

Take a deep breath then strike quickly and strongly so that you catch him by surprise.

There are 3 places to strike. Pick the one you think you can execute the best in the situation and then do it and get the hell away from there. (and call the police)

  1. Eyes – Gouge the eyes. This one is not for the weak at heart. It is pretty gross because you need to really dig your fingers or nails in the socket for it to work.
  2. Throat – Punch the throat. Hard. This will cut off his air and bring him down.
  3. Groin – Kick or slap the groin. My personal favorite. It doesn’t take a lot of force to drop a man to his knees. Trust me I know. I have done it many times! By accident while play sparring with my black belt boyfriend, I accidentally hit his package, and he crawled out of my apartment, literally. And many times I did it on purpose during real life attack scenarios in class.

I used that defense so much so that the guys affectionately referred to me as “Crotch Killer.” (And they were wearing cups.) That makes me smile to this day.

Luckily, my boyfriend didn’t hold it against me because we did get married the following year.
