Daniel Sarafian showed off his submission skills after scoring early on the feet, locking up a tight arm triangle choke that forced Eddie Mendez to tap at 2:20 of the first round.

An early exchange kicked off the bout with both guys scoring out of the gate. Sarafian then landed with a crisp one-two combination bringing cheers from the crowd before the action moved to the cage. Sarafian worked the fight to the mat and then went to work from the top.

Sarafian wasted little time isolating an arm and advancing to full mount while securing the tight arm triangle choke. The tap came quickly, giving Sarafian his first UFC victory.

The impressive victory improves Daniel Sarafian to 9-3 (1-1 UFC).
