[ads1]rouseyOlympic judo bronze medalist Ronda Rousey, the UFC’s very first female champion, has made a name for herself by submitting every single opponent she’s ever faced in the first round via armbar. There are critics who’ve labeled her a “one trick pony” but it’s pretty clear she trains in all aspects of MMA, not just grappling and armbars.

Check out this video of Rousey sparring with professional boxer Vic Darchinyan (38-5-1, 27 KOs), a 37-year-old Armenian fighter who has held titles in several weight classes and actually just picked up the NABF Super Bantamweight Title over the weekend with a 4th round TKO win over Javier Gallo (18-7-1, 10 KOs) in Texas — oh, and guess who was in Vic’s corner — you guessed it, Ms. Rousey.

How long before Rousey starts knocking opponents out? She was already uber-dangerous with just her armbars, but just imagine the threat she will pose once she gets really comfortable on her feet. Rousey is expected to defend her title against Cat Zingano later this year following their stint as coaches on TUF 18.

Bonus video: Watch Vic Darchinyan discuss a possible move to MMA and what it was like to grapple with Rousey.
