On May 11, Jorge Medina will make his V3Fights’ debut at Marathon Music Works in Nashville, TN. Medina is currently undefeated with a 3-0 record and fights out of Nashville MMA.

To Medina, MMA is more than just a sport to him. He started training after an extensive run with police and jail time. When he got out, he found Shawn Hammonds and his dream began. Hammonds is Medina’s coach and gave him a chance, and Medina admits, “MMA really had me slow down my bad habits and I stopped getting in trouble. I love this sport.”

On May 11, Medina will have a tough task ahead of him when he takes on a very dangerous fighter in Adam Nash. Both fighters come into this fight with a lot of hype behind them, and the winner will be on the fast track to V3 stardom.

According to Medina, “He is going to be a tough fighter from a good camp. He is going to be bigger and naturally heavier, so I got to be ready. The advantage I have in this fight is that I don’t give up for anything. As a former marine, I will never surrender. Im lighter and faster and this fight can go either way because we both seem to be well rounded fighters.”

So far, ever since Medina has been involved in MMA, great things have happened. He will look to continue that momentum on May 11 when he makes his V3Fights’ debut.

This event will be aired on Comcast Sports South.
