[ads1]Rick StoryUFC officials have announced that UFC welterweight Gunnar Nelson is injured and will not be fighting Mike Pyle at UFC 160. UFC welterweight Rick Story has agreed to step in on short notice and fight Mike Pyle at UFC 160.

Story (15-6) was victorious in his last outing at UFC 158 where he defeated Quinn Mulhern via first round TKO. It was a nice rebound for Story who was coming off a one sided submission loss against Demian Maia at UFC 153.

Pyle (24-8-1) is coming off a TKO win over James Head at the TUF 16 Finale in December. He has won three consecutive fights with all of those wins coming via first round TKO/KO.

The UFC 160 event will be headlined by the UFC heavyweight title fight between champion Cain Velasquez and challenger Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva, and will take place May 25 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
