[ads1]Cris Cyborg - MMAInvicta FC officials have confirmed that Cris Cyborg and Marloes Coenen will fight for the second time and headline the Invicta FC 6 event slated sometime this summer. The two fighters first fought under the Strikeforce banner in 2010 with Cyborg defeating Coenen via third round TKO.

Cyborg has gone (2-0, 1NC) since that fight and was victorious on Saturday in her Invicta debut against Fiona Muxlow after serving over a year long suspension for a positive steroid test after beating Hiroko Yamanaka in December 2011.

Coenen has gone (4-1) since her initial fight with Cyborg, with the only loss coming against Miesha Tate who took her Strikeforce women’s bantamweight title with the win. Coenen also defeated Fiona Muxlow in her last outing, winning via first round armbar.

The winner of this fight will be crowned the inaugural Invicta FC featherweight champion. More details involving the upcoming Invicta FC 6 event will be released in the coming weeks.
