Kelvin Gastelum and Dylan Andrews reach the final four

Series continues next Tuesday on FX at 9 p.m. ET/PT

Las Vegas, Nevada – The Ultimate Fighter® returned to FX on Tuesday night with the 10th episode of the season – The Quarterfinals Begin. Four fighters entered the Octagon® hoping to secure a spot in the semi-finals but it was Team Sonnen’s Kelvin Gastelum and Team Jones’ Dylan Andrews who emerged victorious.

Gastelum, 5-0 in mixed martial arts, wasted no time showing why he deserved to move on in the competition, downing Collin Hart by TKO at 0:33 of the first round. Following a swift exchange, Gastelum landed on Hat, 4-1-1, with a sharp left hand and finished the fight.

Squaring off in the second quarterfinal of the night was Team Sonnen’s top pick – Luke Barnatt, 5-0 – and Team Jones’ last pick – Andrews, 16-4-1. Underestimated early on in the competition, Andrews’ patience and determination paid off as he finally exploded and defeated Barnatt by TKO at 1:58 of the sudden victory round.

Also on the show, UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey – who will feature as a coach on the next season of The Ultimate Fighter – and boxing legend Mike Tyson stopped by the TUF gym to surprise the competitors and share some words of wisdom.
